The Countdown Clock lets you show how much time is left before your auction ends—perfect for building urgency online or in person. You can display it on your Virtual Venue auction page or project it live at an event.
⚙️ How to Enable the Countdown Clock in Virtual Venue
To show a countdown clock directly on your auction page for online bidders, follow these steps:

Go to Software Settings > Auction Settings > Countdown Clock.

Adjust your Clock Visibility settings. You can choose:

Always Show

Show at HH:MM:SS remaining

Never Show
-

Set:

The start time and date for the countdown.
-
The label that appears while the countdown is active.

The text shown when the countdown reaches zero.

The Countdown Clock displays time based on your device’s local settings, so double-check time zones when setting the end time.
Use strong call-to-action language in your expired text, like “Bidding is now closed!”

Want to energize the room and show everyone how close the auction is to ending? The Countdown Display is perfect for projecting on a screen at live events. Note: This countdown only works within 24 hours of the auction's closing time.

Go to Event Central.

Click Countdown Clock.

Customize your display:

Add Header Text (up to 30 characters).

Enter the closing time in military time (e.g., 20:30 for 8:30 PM).

Choose a background image from the presets or upload your own.

Click Launch Countdown to see your live countdown display.

The display will automatically count down to the latest closing time on your Manage Items page.
Try uploading an image that includes your nonprofit’s logo and branding to enhance visibility during the event.
