🛒 Bidder Checkout

ClickBid’s Bidder Checkout feature makes it easy for guests to pay for items they’ve won or purchased during your event.

➕ Ways to Direct Guests to Checkout

  1. Share your organization’s Landing Page with attendees.

  2. Use Mass Messaging to send guests a [u] shortcode, which links to their bidder login.

  3. Enable the Silent Item Winning Text Message under Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment to send a direct link to the payment screen.

Setting up reminder texts after your event can help increase prompt payments.

🔐 Logging into the Bidder Account

  1. Go to your event’s Landing Page.

  2. Click the Sign-Up/Register button in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter your phone number or email address.

  4. Check your device for a login code, then enter it to return to the Landing Page.


🛒 Viewing and Completing Checkout

  1. After logging in, click the menu icon to the right of your name.

  2. Select Checkout.

  3. On the Checkout screen, you’ll see:

    • Items you won

    • Items you purchased

    • Any donations you pledged

  4. Scroll to the bottom to view your total.

  5. Add or change your credit card on file if needed.

  6. Click Submit to complete payment.

  7. A receipt will be emailed to the address on your bidder account.

Encourage guests to log in early and confirm their payment method before your event ends. This speeds up final checkout.
