📧 How to Customize Your ClickBid Welcome Email

When a guest registers as a bidder, ClickBid automatically sends them a Welcome Email with important event info. You can customize part of this message to give it a more personal or branded touch.

⚙️ Accessing the Welcome Email Settings

To edit your welcome message:

  1. Click Software Settings from your admin menu

  2. Click Auction Settings

  3. Click Bidder Settings

  4. Scroll to the Welcome Email content section

  5. Click inside the content area to add your custom message

This message is sent only when an individual registers themselves as a bidder.

💡 Tip: Even if you customize the email, ClickBid’s default welcome message will still be included. Use your section to highlight special instructions, contacts, or event-specific notes.

đź“Ś Important Notes About the Welcome Email

  • Bidder numbers will only be included if you've added at least one Live or Silent Auction item in your admin

  • Shortcodes (like [u], [f]) cannot be used in this message

  • There is no separate preview—test by registering yourself as a bidder to see how it looks

⚠️ Warning: If no auction items are loaded yet, the email will not include the bidder’s number, even though the default message mentions it.
