Logging into the ClickBid bidding site is quick and easy for your guests. Whether they’re using a phone or email, bidders can securely access the auction with a one-time login code — no password needed.
📲 Logging In With a One-Time Code

Go to the event’s Landing Page.

Click Sign In / Sign Up

Enter a phone number or email address, then click Continue.

If a phone number is entered, the login code will be sent via text message.

If an email is entered, the login code will be sent via email.

Enter the login code received on the next screen. Once your code is entered, you will be redirected back to the landing page.

If you're missing key info like email address, phone number, or credit card, you’ll be prompted to enter it here before proceeding.

You’ll now land on the Home Screen where you can:

Browse auction items

Make a donation
-
Add a credit card (if not already added)
- Desktop: click on your name in the upper right corner to open your profile
- Mobile: tap the menu icon in the upper right, then tap My Account located at the bottom of the menu

Return to the home screen anytime by tapping the Event Name in the top-left

Once signed in, the bidder will remain logged in for up to 14 days of inactivity (on the same device and browser). After that, they’ll need a new code.
📨 What If the Code Doesn’t Arrive?

Check spam/junk folders if you’re using email.

Try using the other login method (email instead of phone or vice versa).

If text messages aren’t coming through:

Ask your provider if they’re blocking short codes.
-
Text START to 855-800-4975 to re-enable messages.

ClickBid cannot control text message delivery settings imposed by cell carriers.
📝 Opting Into Text Messaging when Registering

On the Landing Page, click Sign In/Sign Up, enter a phone or email and click Continue.

On the Registration Form, check the box to opt into text messaging.

This enables login codes, outbid alerts, and other event messages.

Complete the registration form and click Submit.

You’ll receive a welcome message and your login code via text or email.

Confirm your name on the next page and click Continue.
Even if a guest unsubscribes from texts, they will still receive email versions of important messages like welcome and outbid notifications.
🔁 Key Details About the Login Code

Login codes are one-time use and expire after 15 minutes.

If a bidder requests a new code, the old one becomes invalid.

A new code is required if:

The bidder signs in on a new device
-
14 days pass without activity

They log out manually
-

Admins can view the most recent unused login code by searching the bidder in the Butler.
