📱 Text Message Number Update: What You Need to Know

Starting January 14, 2025, ClickBid will update its text messaging number from 56651 to a new toll-free number:
👉 855-800-4975

This change will affect all U.S. organizations using ClickBid messaging services.

⚠️ Important:
Canadian organizations already use 855-800-4975, so no action is needed for Canadian clients.

🔄 What’s Changing on January 14, 2025

After the update, all messages related to the following features will come from the new number (855-800-4975):

  • 📲 Text to Give

  • 📝 Text to Register

  • 🔐 One-Time Login Codes

  • 🧩 2-Factor Authentication Codes

  • 🚨 Outbid Notifications

ℹ️ Info: The new number is a toll-free U.S. number to improve deliverability and reduce carrier filtering.

Here’s how text messaging currently works prior to the transition:

🔢 From 56651 (or 855-800-4975 in Canada)

  • Text to Give

  • Login Code Messages

  • Outbid Notices

🧾 From 844-number (ClickBid’s secondary sender)

  • Welcome Texts (sent via the Butler)

  • Mass Messaging Texts (for Enhanced and Full Suite license holders)
