đŸš« Why the Sign In/Sign Up Area Isn’t Showing

If the Sign In/Sign Up section isn’t appearing on your landing page, don’t worry—it’s usually tied to a few simple settings related to your auction timing and registration permissions. Here’s how to quickly troubleshoot and fix it.

⚙ Step 1: Make Sure Bidder Registration Is Enabled

If bidder registration is turned off, the Sign Up option won’t appear.

  1. Go to Software Settings > Auction Settings > Bidder Settings.

  2. Find the setting labeled Allow Bidder Registration.

  3. Set this to Yes.

  • If this is turned off, new guests won’t be able to register to bid.

â„čInfo: This setting controls whether visitors can register themselves as bidders before your auction opens.

🔁 Step 2: Check Your Auction Timing and “Open Auction Early” Setting

If your event date is still in the future and you’re not allowing early access, the system hides the Sign In/Sign Up area.

  1. Go to Software Settings > Landing Page Builder > Settings.

  2. Locate the Open Auction Early toggle.

  3. Set it to Yes to allow users to access the sign in/sign up area early.

You have two options to resolve this:

  • Turn on Open Auction Early to allow early access.

  • OR turn on Bidder Registration to display the Sign Up option, even before your event starts. This will allow guests to register, but they won’t be able to sign in and start bidding until the auction opens.

💡Tip: Opening your auction early is a handy way to test or allow early access—especially after hours or before your official start date.

🛑 Step 3: Auction Start Date + Other Settings = Hidden Access

If all the following are true:

  • Your auction start date is still in the future,

  • Allow Bidder Registration is turned off, and

  • Open Auction Early is also set to No,

Then the Sign In/Sign Up area will not appear.

To fix this, do one of the following:

  • Go to Landing Page Builder > Settings and set Open Auction Early to Yes.

  • OR go to Bidder Settings and turn Allow Bidder Registration to Yes.

  • OR contact your Account Manager to adjust your auction date:
    Training/Support > Request Support

⚠ Warning: If you leave all three settings in their restrictive state, visitors will not see a way to register or log in—making it impossible to bid or register for your event.
