After your auction ends, it’s important to manage payments and follow up with bidders efficiently. This guide walks you through closing your auction, processing payments, enabling mobile checkout, and accessing post-event reports to wrap things up smoothly.


📱 Mobile Checkout for Bidders

Let your guests check out quickly right from their phones.

  1. Go to Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment.

  2. Toggle on Guests can check out from phone.

  3. Bidders will see a red Checkout button after they click on the hamburger icon.

  • Once they click Checkout, they can confirm their items, enter card info (if needed), and submit payment.

  • A receipt is emailed automatically after payment is completed.

đź’ˇTip: If you're using mass messaging, you can send a reminder to Bidders Not Checked Out with a link to their checkout page. Be sure to include the [u] link in your message.


⚙️ Batch Processing Credit Cards

If guests saved credit cards during bidding, you can check them out all at once.

  1. Go to Event Central > Event Payments > Unpaid Checkouts.

  2. Select all bidders you want to process.

  3. Make sure Credit Card is selected under Batch Process As:.

  4. Click Batch Process.

  • Bidders move from Unpaid Checkouts to Paid Checkouts once payment is complete.
  • It’s okay if bidders don’t check out the same night the auction closes; you can manage checkout anytime after.

⚠️ Warning: This process can take up to 15 minutes to complete.

ℹ️Info: If you’ve enabled the option for bidders to choose whether to cover credit card fees, batch processing will override this and automatically charge the fees to the bidder.

⚠️ Warning: Before you batch process, turn off mobile checkout to avoid double charges. Go to Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment and disable Guests can check out from phone.

đź’ˇTip: Use Show All Entries to see more than 10 unpaid checkouts and use the toggle box to select all at once.


📊 Accessing Post-Event Reports

Find out what sold, who won, and what’s been paid.

  • Go to Reports > Event Sales for a detailed list of sold items, winners, payment status, and donor info.

  • Go to Reports > Post Event Report to email yourself a summary of your entire event’s performance.

  • You can also get a quick glance at your gross totals from your Home Page under Event Totals.
