đź‘€How to Preview Your Bidding Site Before It Opens

Want to check your bidding site before your event goes live? Previewing lets you view your auction items and bidding experience exactly as your guests will see them — helping you catch issues early and feel confident before launch.

⚙️ Step 1: Set Items to Active or Closed

To make items appear on your bidding site preview, they must be set as Active or Closed.

  1. Go to Items > Manage Items.

  2. Set each item's status to Active or Closed.

 Items marked as Invisible won’t appear during preview.

🎛️ Step 2: Open the Auction for Preview

Next, temporarily open your auction early so you can access the site.

  1. Go to Software Settings > Landing Page Builder> Settings.

  2. Set Open Auction Early to Yes.

📲 Step 3: Add the Auction Link to your Landing Page 

Now it’s time to view your site just like a bidder would.

  1. In the Landing Page Builder go to Settings >Navigation Settings.

  2. Show Auction Link? Set this to Yes.

đź‘€ Step 4: Preview the Bidding Site

 You’ll see the full bidding site experience, including:

  • Your auction items

  • Bidding buttons

  • Item descriptions and images

Browse around to ensure everything looks correct.

🛑 Step 5: Close the Bidding Site

When you’re done previewing, don’t forget to close the site to prevent early access by guests.

  1. Return to Software Settings > Landing Page Builder > Settings. (shown above)

  2. Set Open Auction Early to No.

Leaving the auction open early allows bidders to access your site before you're ready.
