đź“„ How to Add a PDF and Link to Your Landing Page

Need to share event details, sponsorship forms, or auction catalogs? You can easily link a PDF document on your landing page to give guests quick access to important information. Here’s how to do it using both the Virtual Venue and Legacy landing page layouts.

Before adding the link to your landing page, you’ll need to upload the PDF and generate a shareable link. Google Drive is a great way to do this.

  1. Go to Google Drive.

  2. Upload or drag your PDF file into your My Drive.

  3. Open the PDF file and select Share.

  4. Make sure General Access is set to Anyone with the link can View.

  5. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Share button.
  6. Click Copy Link.

You must use a public link so that your guests can view the PDF without needing access permissions.

Once your link is ready, you can add it as a button directly on your landing page.

  1. Go to Software Settings > Landing Page Builder.

  2. Click Add Content Block in the location you would like the PDF to display.

  3. Choose Free Form for the content block type.

  4. Add a Title/Header for the block. Both are required, but title can be hidden.

  5. Click Save.
  6. In the Free Form settings:

    • Choose whether to Show/Hide the block

    • Decide if you'd like to display the Title

    • Pick a Background Color for the block

    • Choose the alignment
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click into the text box area (Where it says Type something) and click the Quick Insert (+) button.

  9. Select the Brand Shadow Button (third option).

  10. Paste your PDF link into the URL field.

  11. Add the button text you’d like (e.g., Check In Instructions).

  12. Click Save.

âś… Guests will now see a clickable button on your landing page. When clicked, it opens the PDF in a new tab.

Use short, clear button labels like “View PDF” or “Download Catalog” so guests know what to expect.
