🛎️ Adding Live Winning Bidders in Butler
When items are sold during a live auction, you can quickly assign them to the correct bidder using ClickBid’s Butler tool. This ensures winning bids are recorded accurately and added to the bidder’s cart for checkout.
⚙️ Access the Butler Tool

Go to https://cbo.io/butler.
👤 Search for the Bidder in Add a Bid/Multi - Sale Section

Click the Bidder field.

Type the bidder’s first name, last name, or bidder number.

Select the correct bidder from the list.
💡Tip: Searching by bidder number is usually fastest during a live auction.
🎁 Choose the Item

Click the Item field.

Type the item’s number or item name.

Select the item you want to assign.
💵 Enter the Winning Bid Amount

Under Enter an Amount, type in the final bid amount the bidder will pay.

Click Add Bid to move the item into the bidder’s cart.
ℹ️Info: The Add Bid button does not process payment — it just records the winning amount and adds it to the cart.
✅ Finalize the Winning Bid

Click Place Bid to save the entry.

Repeat steps 1–6 for each additional winner if the item was sold more than once (e.g., for multiples or match items).
💡Tip: You can enter multiple winners for the same item by repeating the steps for each bidder.
⚠️ Warning About Bid Recording
⚠️ Warning: Once a bid is placed in the bidder's cart, they’ll need to complete payment during checkout — entering the bid does not automatically charge them.
