ClickBid’s Virtual Venue is the new and improved bidding platform launched in February 2025. It offers a streamlined experience for placing bids, checking out, and managing your event activity — all from your phone.

ℹ️Info: Watching this video before your event starts is a great way to feel confident and ready!


🔐 Logging In to Bid

  1. Go to your organization’s event landing page > Sign In/Sign Up.

     2. Enter your phone number or email and tap Continue.

     3. You’ll receive a one-time login code by text or email.


     4. Enter the code.

⚠️ Warning: Login codes expire after 15 minutes. If your code expires, you’ll need to request a new one.

     5. Click the hamburger icon > Auction. 

     6. Start Bidding!


🎟️ Browsing and Bidding on Items

  1. Once logged in, search by item number, keyword, or category.

     2. Tap the Place Bid button on any item to:

    • Place a fast bid

    • Enter a custom bid

    • Set a max bid

    • View item details

ℹ️Info: A max bid will automatically increase your bid if someone outbids you, up to your set amount. You’ll get a text alert if you're outbid.


👤 Managing Your Bidding Activity

  • Tap All Items to view everything you’ve bid on or won.

  • Use the hamburger icon (top right) > My Account to update your profile information.


💳 Checking Out from Your Phone

  1. When you’re ready to check out, look for the hamburger icon at the top of your screen.

  2. Tap the button and select checkout to complete your payment.

💡Tip: For a smoother experience, wait until all auction items (silent, live, appeal) are closed before checking out.


❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How do I remove a bid?
Right after placing a bid, tap Undo on the confirmation banner. If it disappears, ask an event volunteer using the Butler to remove it.

I replied STOP to texts. Can I still get outbid alerts?
Yes! Just text START to (855) 800-4975 to re-enable text notifications.

How do I place a max bid?
Tap Place Bid, then Set Max/Current Bid, choose your amount, and tap Set Max.

Did I win anything?
After the auction ends, go to Hamburger Icon > Checkout to see your winnings and purchases.

⚠️ Warning: If you're not receiving your login code by text, try requesting it via email. Carrier settings may block SMS delivery. Also check your spam folder for the email.
