📱 Mobile Check-In for Hybrid Events
Mobile Check-In is a handy feature that helps you know in advance who plans to attend your event in person and who will participate remotely. It’s especially helpful for hybrid events, making guest management smoother for your team.
⚙️ Enabling Mobile Check-In
To start using Mobile Check-In for your event, you’ll first need to configure your software settings.

Go to Software Settings.

Click Auction Settings.

Select Bidder Settings.

Set the Check-In Start Date and Time to control when attendees can begin checking in.

This setting applies to both Virtual Venue and Legacy site users.

Mobile Check-In does not send the welcome text to bidders.
This feature became available with the Virtual Venue release on February 24, 2025. If you’ve already started selling tickets, you’ll need to wait until your next event to switch to Virtual Venue.
👥 What Happens When a Bidder Checks In?
When a bidder checks in via the Mobile Check-In screen, ClickBid automatically tags their profile based on how they plan to attend:

Selected In-Person = Checked In tag

Selected Remote/Online Only = remote tag
These tags appear under Bidders > Manage Bidders.
