🔔 Understanding Push Notifications in ClickBid
Push Notifications are clickable pop-up messages that appear on your browser or supported device. They're a great backup to SMS text messages in case your phone carrier blocks delivery.
💡 Tip: Enabling Push Notifications ensures you never miss important updates during your event—even if text messages fail.
📵 iOS Limitations
Apple iPhones and iPads do not support Push Notifications via browsers due to Apple’s policies. However:
-
✅ MacBooks can receive push notifications.
-
✅ iPhones/iPads can still receive SMS messages.
-
🔁 If SMS fails, ClickBid will attempt to send the message via WhatsApp (you must have the app installed).
⚠️ Warning: If you are using an iOS device, do not rely on Push Notifications. Enable SMS and WhatsApp instead.
✅ How to Enable Push Notifications (Non-iOS Devices Only)
When accessing the bidding site on your browser:
-
A prompt will appear: “Allow Push Notifications for your account?”
👉 Click Yes. -
