🕰️ How to Set an Item Closing Time

 

👀 What is the Item Closing Time?

The Item Closing Time is the exact moment when bidding ends for each item. After this time, bidders can no longer place bids on those items. This is especially helpful for managing auction flow and controlling when silent items officially close.

This only updates the item-level closing time. If you need to change the overall auction closing date, please email your Account Manager at help@clickbidonline.com.

⚙️ How to Set or Update Item Closing Time in Virtual Venue

  1. Click Items > Manage Items in your admin menu

  2. Use the dropdown filter and select All to make sure you're viewing every item

  3. Click the Select All checkbox (located above the first item in your list)

  4. Scroll to the Batch Update section at the bottom of the page

  5. Click the Closing Time field

  6. Choose your desired date and time from the popup, then click Done

  7. Click Update to apply the new closing time to all selected items

We recommend setting your item closing time 15 minutes before your event ends to ensure you have time to announce winners and manage final bidding totals!
