Creating a well-designed Appeal Display is a great way to highlight your fundraising goals and motivate donors to give during your event. With ClickBid, it’s simple to customize your Appeal Display to match your event’s branding and showcase donation amounts in real-time.
✨ Setting Up an Appeal Display Item

Go to Items > Manage Items and click Add Item.

In the Name field, enter a title for your appeal (e.g., “Fund-A-Need”).

Set the Item Type to Donation.
Donation items are used for Paddle Raise/Fund-A-Need appeals and allow donors to give at preset amounts.
You can create multiple donation items if you're running different appeals during your event.
💵 Choosing Donation Denominations

Scroll to the Denominations section and click the +Denomination button.

Enter the giving levels your auctioneer will reference during the live appeal (e.g., $1,000, $500, $250, etc.).
Coordinate with your auctioneer beforehand to align on the giving levels they’ll announce from stage.
⚙️ Customizing the Display Look

Click Projected Display Settings under the item details.

In the Animation Theme dropdown, choose the look you want for your screen display.

Double-check the rest of your settings to ensure everything looks right.
The animation theme controls how donations animate on-screen during the live appeal.
🖼️ Adding a Custom Background

Scroll to the Drop Files to Upload section.

Drag and drop your background image or click to upload.

Backgrounds can include sponsor logos, custom branding, or event visuals.

High-resolution images work best for large screens.
Add your Sponsor Logos in Software Settings > Sponsor Logos to showcase event supporters.
📺 Launching the Appeal Display

Below the Projected Display Settings, click the link to launch your Appeal Display. You may have to refresh your browser window after initially creating the item in order for the link to display.

Copy this link and share it with your AV team to project on screen during the event.

The display updates in real-time as donations come in.

You can open this link on any device connected to your projector setup.
Make sure your AV team tests the display link before the event starts to ensure a smooth presentation.
