🛑How to Deactivate an Event

Need to clean up your Events tab or close out a past event? You can deactivate an event once its date has passed. This removes it from your active list, while still allowing you to manage any final payments or data.

⚙️ How to Deactivate an Event

  • Go to the Events tab.

  • Find the event you want to deactivate.

  • Click the three-dot icon on the top-right corner of the event card.

  • Select Deactivate Event.

  • When prompted, click Yes, Deactivate Event to confirm.

This action cannot be undone. Once deactivated, the event is no longer listed under active events.

đź“… When You Can Deactivate an Event

Before you can deactivate an event:

  • The event date must be in the past

  • You must have the correct Organization-level permissions

If you don’t see the three-dot menu on an event card, ask an Organization Admin to adjust your permissions.

đź’ł What Happens to Unpaid Bidders?

Don’t worry—if a few bidders still have unpaid checkouts:

  • You can still process payments even after the event is deactivated.

  • All reporting and transaction tools remain accessible.

Deactivating an event only removes it from your Active Events list—it doesn’t delete any data.

🔍 How to Access a Deactivated Event

  1. Go to the Events tab.

  2. Use the Event Status dropdown.

  3. Choose Show Inactive Events or Show All Events.

  4. Click Filter Events.

  5. Find your event and click Go to Event Admin.

  • This opens the event so you can finish reporting or processing payments as needed.
