Want to allow supporters to donate without registering as a bidder? ClickBid offers two easy ways to collect secure donations without assigning a bidder number. These donations are processed with a credit card and automatically tracked in your Online Donations tab.
📱 Option 1: Accept Donations via Text-to-Give
Text-to-Give lets donors give directly from their phones by texting your event’s keyword. It's fast, easy, and great for in-event and remote giving.
👣 How It Works:

Donors text your event keyword (found under Home > Important Links) to 855-800-4975 (available in the US and Canada).

They receive a link to your donation page.

After selecting a donation amount and entering payment info, the donation is processed.

You can view all processed donations under Donations/Text to give > Manage Donations.
ℹ️ Info: Customize your Text-to-Give donation page by going to Donations > Text-to-Give > Settings:

Add preset donation amounts

Upload a custom background image
💡 Tip: If a donor starts but doesn’t finish their donation, you can resend a text reminder! Go to Donations > Online Donations, and click Resend Text next to their name.
🌐 Option 2: Add a Donate Button to Your Landing Page
You can also collect donations from your Landing Page, allowing anyone to contribute—even without a bidder number.
👣 Setup Instructions:

Go to Software Settings > Landing Page Content > Page Settings.

Scroll down to Show Donate and set it to Yes.

Share your Landing Page link, which you can find under Home > Important Links.
Now, anyone can click Donate, enter a gift amount, and securely pay by credit card.
💡 Tip: Donations made through the Landing Page also appear in Donations > Online Donations, where you can resend reminders for incomplete entries.
🔄 Track & Manage Online Donations

Go to Donations/Text to give > Manage Donations to view:

Completed donations

Incomplete (unpaid) donations

Use the Resend Text button to remind donors to complete their payment.
