Legacy: 🛒 Checkout Process for Bidders

If you're using ClickBid's Legacy platform, your guests will follow a slightly different process to view their cart and complete payment.

➕ Ways to Direct Guests to Checkout

  1. Share your organization’s Landing Page with attendees.

  2. Use Mass Messaging to send guests a [u] shortcode, which links to their bidder login.

  3. Enable the Silent Item Winning Text Message under Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment to send a direct link to the payment screen.

Setting up reminder texts after your event can help increase prompt payments.


🔐 Logging into the Bidding Site

  1. Go to the Landing Page.

  2. Enter your phone number or email in the login section and click Go.

  3. Enter the code sent to your device.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Confirm the name on your account and click Continue.

💳 Completing Payment

Once logged in, you'll be redirected to the bidding site automatically.
  1. Click the red Pay button.

  2. Review your winning items. Your total (including tax) will be listed below your winning items. 

  3. Scroll down and enter your payment information.

    Submit payment to finalize your checkout.

Guests will receive a confirmation receipt via email after successful payment.
