💡 Tip: You can add multiple individual tickets by clicking + Add Individual Ticket again.

➕ Add a New Ticket

  1. Click Add Individual Ticket

  2. In the Ticket Name field, enter your label
Examples: “Individual Ticket,” “Couples Ticket,” “Gala Ticket”

  1. Price – Enter the cost per purchase

  2. Fair Market Value (optional) – Add an FMV that will appear on the purchaser's receipt
    Example: “FMV $75 per ticket”

  3. Tickets Per Purchase

    • Use 1 for individual tickets

    • Use 2 for couple/family-style bundles (Etc)

  4. Availability

    • Enter the total number available

    • Use 0 for unlimited sales

  5. Hide Availability?

    • No = Availability is shown publicly (e.g., 5 of 19 Available)

    • Yes = Hide availability on the ticket page

  6. Mark as Sold Out?

    • Will auto-trigger when availability reaches 0

    • Or set manually to "Yes" to close sales

  7. Sold Out Message (optional) – Add a message shown on your ticket page once the ticket is sold out

  8. Ticket Details – This content appears just below the ticket name on your ticket page. Use it to describe what's included.

⚠️ Warning: Once a ticket has been purchased, do not change the ticket name. This will disrupt reports and guest link functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

👀 How do I preview changes I’ve made to the ticket page?

📍 Go to: Event Tickets > Launch Ticket Page

➕ How do I add another individual ticket?

📍 Go to: Event Tickets > Modify Tickets > + Add Individual Ticket

🧍 Do I need to enter guest names at the time of ticket purchase?

No. If you don’t know your guests yet, enable the Guest Update Link so purchasers can forward the link to their guests to complete info later.

📍 Go to: Event Tickets > Ticket Page Settings > General Settings
Toggle Send Guest Update Link with Ticket Purchase to Yes

💡 Tip: This is especially helpful when the buyer isn’t attending but is bringing guests.

🏷️ What should I name my tickets?

Try these:

  • Individual Ticket

  • Couple Ticket

  • Pre-Party Ticket

  • After-Party Ticket

  • Raffle Ticket

🟦 Info: Keep names short and clear. Max length is 26 characters.

🧪 Can I do a test purchase and delete it afterward?

Yes — and it’s recommended! Here's how:

  1. Go to Event Tickets > Ticket Page Settings > Payment Types

    • Set Cash or Check to Yes

  2. Go to Event Tickets > Launch Ticket Page

    • Complete a test purchase

  3. To delete the test sale:

    • Go to Event Tickets > View Ticket Sales

    • Click the blue dropdown next to the sale > click the ❌ X

    • Click Void This Line and Submit

    • Check the box next to the name > Scroll down > Click Delete

    • Type delete in the confirmation box

    • Type test in the archive name box

    • Click Update Page

⚠️ Important: Don’t forget to revert your Payment Types after testing!

🎟️ Can I sell raffle tickets in ticket sales?

Yes, but consider using the Underwriting section instead for clarity.

📍 If you use ticket sales, raffle tickets:

  • Will count toward your ticket total

  • Must be filtered via Column P in the export from:
Event Tickets > View Ticket Sales > Download Report

💡 Tip: Using the Underwriting section lets you keep raffle data separate and easier to report.

✅ Summary Tips

  • Use Tickets Per Purchase to handle couple/family packages

  • Set a Fair Market Value for receipts if desired

  • Hide or show availability based on your visibility preference

  • Test with cash/check before going live

  • Never rename a ticket after it's sold — it breaks reports and guest links
