⏳ How to Use the Countdown Clock in ClickBid
The Countdown Clock is a visual timer that builds excitement and urgency by displaying a live countdown to your auction's end time. Whether you’re hosting an in-person event or running a virtual auction, it’s a great way to keep guests engaged and informed.
⚙️ Setting Up the Countdown Clock in Your Admin

Go to Software Settings > Auction Settings > Countdown Clock.

Adjust the following settings:

Clock Visibility: Choose when the clock should be visible — Always Show, Show at HH:MM:SS Remaining, or Never Show.

Start Date & Time: Set the exact time when the countdown should begin.

Time Remaining Label: Customize how the remaining time is labeled on the screen.

Expired Text: Enter the message that displays when the countdown reaches zero.

You’ll see a preview of both the countdown timer and the expired message on your Auction Page.
ℹ️Info: The countdown reflects the latest closing time based on your items in the Manage Items page.
🖥️ How to Display the Countdown Clock at an Event
This version is designed for projection during an in-person event, showing guests how much time they have left to place bids.
⚠️ Warning: This countdown display only works within 24 hours of your event's closing time.

Go to Event Central from your dashboard.

Click Countdown Clock.

Customize your display settings:

Header Text: Add a short message above the clock (up to 30 characters).

Closing Time: Enter the time your silent auction ends (use military time format).

Background Image: Choose a preset image or upload your own for a branded experience.

Click Launch Countdown to preview or display the full-screen clock.
ℹ️Info: The countdown is based on the item with the latest closing time.
💡Tip: Press F11 to make the display full-screen on your projector or secondary monitor.
