Legacy:❓Why is the “Register Now” Button Missing from the Landing Page?
⚠️Legacy features will be retired at the beginning of 2026. For more details on this change, click here.
If you don’t see the “Register Now” button on your ClickBid landing page, especially during testing or setup, it’s likely related to admin login session caching. This typically happens only for admin users, not public guests or bidders.
🧠 Why This Happens
ClickBid now uses persistent login sessions that keep you signed in to the bidding site for up to 14 days.
However, if you’re logged in as an admin and make changes like disabling Open Auction Early, those changes may not display properly until you fully log out or clear your browser cache.
⚠️ Example Scenario
Let’s say the following happens:
-
Your Open Auction Early setting is turned ON
-
You visit your bidding site (and remain logged in — even if you close the tab or browser)
-
Later, you go to:
Landing Page Content > Page Settings
and change Open Auction Early to NO
Even though you made the change, the “Register Now” button may still not appear, because your admin session is cached.
✅ How to Fix It
To properly reflect your setting changes:
-
Either:
-
Go back and set Open Auction Early to YES, then:
-
Log out of the bidding site from the landing page
-
Set Open Auction Early back to NO
-
-
-
Or:
-
Clear your browser cache
-
Reload the landing page
-
🧹 Tip: Logging out of the bidding site or clearing cache will force your session to refresh with updated settings.
🔓 Where to Log Out
You can log out of the bidding site by:
-
Visiting the landing page while still signed in as a bidder
-
Scrolling to the top-right corner of the bidding screen
-
Clicking the menu (☰) or profile icon and selecting
Logout
This will reset your session and allow new changes (like removing early access) to take effect correctly.
