      🧾 Link Wallet Payment Option for Donors

      Securely manage and use your preferred payment methods with Link, powered by Stripe.
      This article walks you through how to log in, manage your wallet, and check out using Link during ClickBid events.

      🚀 What is Link?

      Link is a secure, Stripe-powered wallet that allows donors to:

      • Save and reuse credit cards or bank accounts

      • Enjoy 1-click checkout across ClickBid events and other Stripe-supported sites

      • Manage payment options within a simple, consistent interface

      🛠️ How to Use Link in ClickBid

      1. Log In to Link

      When prompted to enter a payment method during login or checkout, you’ll see this option:

      “Secure, 1-click checkout with Link”

      • Click the dropdown to sign in to Link.

      • Enter your email address.

        • If new to Link, you’ll create an account.

        • If you’ve used Link before, your wallet will load.

       

      🔐 Note: Stripe will require a 2FA verification step to authenticate your identity.

      • Complete the 2FA verification (sent via SMS or email).

       

      2. Access Your Link Wallet

      Once authenticated:

      • Your saved payment methods will appear.

      • If no methods exist yet, you’ll be prompted to add a new card or bank account.


      3. Choose a Payment Method

      • Select your preferred method to use for:

        • Adding a card on file

        • Completing event checkouts

      • Click “Change” anytime to:

        • View other saved methods

        • Add a new one

      4. Add a New Payment Method

      You can add a new card or bank account:

      • During login

      • During checkout

      • From your account page

      If you're already logged in to Link:

      • Click “Add New Payment Method”

      • Link will guide you through securely entering your details

      5. Log Out of Link (Optional)

      • Click the three-dot menu next to your email in the Link interface

      • Select “Log out of Link”

      • You’ll return to the traditional payment entry form (manual card entry, Apple Pay, or Google Pay)

      6. Use Link Across ClickBid and Other Sites

      Any payment methods saved in Link:

      • Are stored securely by Stripe

      • Will be available across all ClickBid events using Stripe

      • Can be used on other websites that support Link payments

      7. Update Payment Method While Logged In

      If you click “Add New Payment Method” while logged in:

      • Link will appear by default

      • You can:

        • Add a new method

        • Switch between saved options

        • Choose your preferred payment for the transaction


      🧾 View Your Saved Method

      Whether you're:

      • On your account page, or

      • At the checkout screen

      The currently selected Link method will display clearly as the card on file — so you always know what’s being charged.

        • Logging in
