Second Chance Auction

  • Contact your Account Manager under Training/Support > Request Support to adjust your event closing date. This will allow you to adjust the closing date of any items that did not sell.
  • To view Unbid Items, go to Items > Manage Items and use the Tags column to sort by Has Bids or Unbid.
  • Select any items that have bids and scroll down to the batch update section to change the status to Invisible so they won't be viewable on the auction preview.
  • Make Unbid Items Active Status.
    • Type in unbid under the Tags columns and only the unbid items will appear. 
    • Toggle the “Unbid items"  Scroll to Batch Update.
    • Toggle the Status Box and select “Active”, also toggle the closing time box and change to a new future closing time. Click Update.  
  • If your software package includes the Mass Messaging feature, use it to notify guests of the second chance auction. If your package does not include this feature, you can still spread the word using your own means such as Facebook, personal email, or your website. Let potential bidders know that they have another chance to bid on items that did not sell during the initial auction.
