✉️ Using Thank You Letters in ClickBid
ClickBid makes it easy to generate customized thank you letters for your auction donors. Whether you're thanking someone for a single donation or multiple items, this tool helps you create polished, professional letters with just a few clicks.
📝 Creating Your Thank You Letter
-
Go to Items > Thank You Letters in your admin.
-
In the Content area, type your thank you message. This message will be used for every donor.
-
If no message exists yet, ClickBid will automatically insert a starter template for you.
-
Your changes will auto-save, so no need to worry about losing edits.
Press Enter for full line spacing. Press Shift + Enter for smaller spacing between lines.
🧩 Using Shortcodes to Personalize Letters
Use the Shortcode Insert Tool (found in the editor toolbar, second row on the far right) to include dynamic elements that personalize each letter.
Available Donor Shortcodes:
-
Donated Items — Adds a list of items donated
-
Donated Items with FMV — Includes Fair Market Values
These shortcodes will automatically populate unique donor info when letters are generated.
If a donor has given multiple items, only one letter is generated. The items will appear as a bulleted list in their thank you.
