Casting EventStream to a TV

We suggest that you send out a 'help desk' contact for your event. That way if anyone needs help or has any questions, your organization can assist. You can add this contact information on your landing page, in a mass message, or in the terms of the bidding site. 

* We do not recommend using the TV's built-in browser to watch your streaming video.

Option 1: Using Cables

Plug one end of the HDMI cable into your HDMI input on your laptop. 

Plug the other end of the cable into one of the HDMI inputs on your TV. 

Using the remote control, select the input that corresponds to where you plugged in the cable 

(HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, etc.). 

Option 2: Screen mirroring on iPhone with Apple TV 

Make sure your iPhone and Apple TV are on the same Wi-Fi network—otherwise they won’t see each other. 

Open Control Center on your iOS device.  

• On iPad or any iPhone other than the iPhone X, do this by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.  
• On iPhone X, swipe down from the right of the notch. 
• Tap the Screen Mirroring button. It looks like two overlapping rectangles. 
• Select your Apple TV from the list that appears. 

If an AirPlay passcode pops up on your TV, enter the code on your iOS device. 

If you want to stop mirroring, open Control Center. Then, under Screen Mirroring, tap Stop Mirroring. 

Option 3: Samsung TV

Make sure your Samsung device/phone is on the same WiFi network as your Smart TV. Also, make sure your TV is on.

• Open Smart View on your device. Swipe down from the top of the device and search for Smart View.
• Choose your TV from the list of devices.
• Press Start Mirroring.
• You can now use your device to open the broadcast and control the volume.

Option 4: Chrome Casting  

• Cast your entire Android screen 
• Make sure your mobile phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device. 
• Open the Google Home app. 
• Tap the device you want to cast your screen to. 
• Tap Cast my screen and then Cast screen.
