How Do I Remind My Ticket Purchasers to Have Their Guests Update Their Information?

 

Go to Event Tickets > Ticket Page Settings > ‘Allow Guest Updates?’ > YES

  • NO = No updates are allowed to the guest update link; the link is not sent for new ticket purchases. 

  • YES = Updates can be made by all guests except the ticket purchaser, and the guest update link does get sent to new purchases.

 

Go to Event Tickets > Manage Guests. You can see here who you will need to remind by looking at who still has “Guests of” listed. In the example below, you can see that Cork Merk has 5 guests he still needs information from.

 

Now go to Event Tickets > View Ticket Sales and resend the Guest Update Link Email to this ticket purchaser. To the right of their name is a drop-down arrow; click on that and then tap Resend Link (infinity sign). 

This will automatically send the purchaser an email that they can forward to their guests to update their information. When their guests enter their information it updates the software automatically.

Need to Make Updates to the Guest Update Email?

You can edit the message that goes in this email by going to Event Tickets > Ticket Page Settings > Customizable Content > Link Email Message.

*NOTE: If the setting 'Allow Guest Updates' is set to NO. no edits can be made from the Guest Update Link Page. The link will be viewable, but not editable.
