Ticket Page Limited Quantity & Can Guests Hold Tickets During Purchase?

How do I add a limited quantity to my Tickets?

- Under Event Tickets > Modify Tickets, click on Add a ticket (Individual, Sponsor, and Underwriting can all have limited quantities)

- Put the number of tickets you have available under Quantity Available. This will make it so you do not oversell your tickets.

- If you want to mark your tickets as sold out before your quantity has been met you can do that under "Mark as Sold Out?"

- You can change the Sold Out message to say something specific.

Will The Software Hold My Tickets Before I click Submit?

The Ticket Page will not reserve ticket purchases in process, the only way to be sure that you secure your purchase is to finalize your order. If you have a ticket set up that has a limited quantity and two people are trying to purchase the last ticket and someone walks away for a short amount of time and gets timed out, they will be kicked back to the ticket page.

Example:

There are 10 tickets available

Lisa goes in and selects 10 tickets and walks away from her computer before hitting the submit button.

Erin goes in and selects 2 ticket and hits submit. Her purchase is confirmed.

Lisa comes back to finish the ticket purchase, hits submit, she will then get kicked back to the ticket page telling her 10 tickets are no longer available, only 8 are available. The software will not hold any tickets until the submit button is selected.
