Ticket Purchasers Can Keep Their Credit Card On File and Turn Themselves Into a Bidder?
When a ticket purchaser purchases a ticket they have the option on the ticket page to keep their credit card on file for bidding in the auction (see screenshot below). They will not receive a notification that they are a bidder nor will they know their bidder number but they will automatically be turned into a bidder.
Notes: If you plan to use the register to bid button you may want to consider putting a note in your ticket confirmation that if you chose to keep your card on file during the ticket purchase, you do not need to register to bid.
* * * Keep in mind credit card data will be removed from our merchant after 180 days.
NOTE: Address does not get sent to the bidder profile. Only the Name, Email, Phone Number, and Credit Card will get pulled over.
